Exchange program between KUST and Salem State University – USA
Exchanging views related to the world academia
For the last six consecutive years, Professor Dr. Elizabeth Duclos Orsello, Dr. Paiman and Dr. Jamal Anwar have been conducting an exchange program between Kurdish university students and Salem State University students in Salem, Massachusetts. In the program, KUST students have been exchanging views related to the world academia in both countries, culture, race, politics and the range of other pressing issues in the global arena. We hope to expand it to video conferencing on a monthly basis between our students in Sulaimani and Salem State University students.
At KUST, we trust that such programs play a crucial role in enhancing student’s knowledge and preparing them for the global world. These programs further help students get exposure to alternative ways of learning and open a gateway to personal development.
