A delegate from KUSTvisited Wza Petroleum in Sulaimani
On Sunday, August 23, 2020, a delegate from Komar University of Science and Technology (KUST) visited Wza Petroleum in Sulaimani to express their gratitude and appreciation for their continuous support to KUST. The KUST delegate was headed by Prof. Salahalddin Saeed “KUST President” and accompanied by Dr. Hiwa Sidiq “PTE Chairperson”. In a ceremonial meeting, Prof. Salahalddin Saeed awarded Ms. Parwin Babakir “CEO of Wza” a certificate of appreciation for her role in facilitating the cooperation between the two organizations. Dr. Hiwa also awarded Mr. Aree Kamal and Mr. Swara Najmadeen from Wza Petroleum for their support to KUST Internship Program.
In a short speech, Prof. Salahalddin Saeed thanked the role of Wza Petroleum in developing the petroleum industry in our Region. In return, Ms. Parwin Babakir appreciated the KUST visit and stated that they will continue to help and support the petroleum engineering programs at universities in Sulaimani and Kurdistan Region.
