Seminar conducted by Komar’s academic students
As part of the University’s Initiative to encourage students to hold seminars and workshops, a group of academic students, Zhwan Gharib, Nahrin Ali, Sanarya Karwan, Sana Ali, Rezhin Zuber, conducted a seminar on “Psychiatric hospitals in Kurdistan” They highlighted the issues of labelling this illness and the lack of proper support and facilities within such establishments. Then, they provided some ways to resolve the issues.
The seminar concluded with a very interesting questions and answers session with the preparatory Level 3 students of the Centre of Intensive English Programme. It is part of the University’s programme to continuously develop and enhance the skills of the students in an authentic manner.
