Supporting Entrepreneurship in Kurdistan
(November 17, 2016) Dr. Salah Aziz was a guest of Kurdistan Economic Development Organization (KEDO) in its annual event where KEDO awards the top three Entrepreneurs in Kurdistan. The ceremony was part of a larger event conducted by KEDO under the title of International Week of Initiatives. The College of Business at Komar University offers a course Principles of Entrepreneurship.
In his speech and answering the participants’ questions, Dr. Salah stated that people is facing financial difficulty some of it due to the wrong polices since 1991 and youths are suffering from that as a result. However, there is a hope for them by starting small business and adopting professional ethics in practicing work. He remind the youths to work hard to start businesses and separate that from charity.
