President Holds a Meeting With Faculty and Staff Members
On January 31st, 2016, President of Komar University, Dr. Salah held a meeting with faculty and staff members of KUST to share with them the latest information about the economic and financial difficulties in the region and their impacts on KUST. He gave details about the proposed solution from the Ministry of Higher Education.
Faculty and staff discussed the issue with the President and requested to have more time to discuss it among themselves. Dr. Salah agreed and requested from the Faculty representative to submit their recommendations to the University Council. He reminded them about the vision and the mission of Komar University and their first priority should remain in serving students. He added that any decision be made will be applied on everyone, including the President.
