KUST Met President of Kurdistan Parliament
A delegation from Komar University of Science and Technology visited the office of the Parliament in Sulaimany. On Tuesday January 20, 2015.
Congratulating Dr.Yousif Mohammad for his new position was the delegation from KUST, headed by the President of the university Dr. Salah Aziz, university instructors Dr. Niaz Najmaden, Dr.Belal Abdulrahman, and director of Public Affairs Ms. Kner Abdulla.
Also present were the consultant of Kurdish parliament Mr.Majid salih and parliament member Dr.Sherko Amin. Topics of discussion included private universities in Kurdistan and how to improve them as well as how to serve Kurdistan by these universities. Civilizing education in Kurdistan, particularly higher education, was the major topic of the conversation. At the end, Dr. Salah Aziz promised his support to Kurdish society in order to improve citizens’ lives by science and to increase development in the community.
