Celebrating a Very Important Date in Kurdish History, the 1991 Raparen
On the 5th of March, KUST students commemorated at the Red Museum (Amna Suraka) a very important date in Kurdish history, the 1991 Raparen which is the great memory of Kurdish liberation. Students were guided by Red Museum director who provided them with useful information about the uprising in 1991. Furthermore, they went to the “Terror Exhibit”, a photo exhibit by several photographers that displays the daily war news with ISIS. They also visited the other parts of the museum and were proud as Kurds with the Kurdistan flag in hand.
