UNICEF and KUST Seek the Possibility of Cooperation
A team from The United Nations Children’s Fund (unicef) visited KUST and met with the President, Dr. Salah Aziz. The team was consisted of Dr. Ikem Chiejie, Chief of Education, UNICEF-Iraq, Mr. Abdulkader Kakasur, Education Officer, Erbil, and Ms. Vian Karim, Education Facilitator, Sulaymanyah. The team discussed the possibility of cooperation in developing the quality of education in Iraq, in general, and in Kurdistan in particular. Mr. Fatah Zaxoei, head of the Community Service Committee, and Ms. Kner Abdullah, Director of the Public Affairs at KUST attended the meeting. UNICEF and KUST agree to follow up with technical meetings in the near future.
