President Visit to Budapest University of Technology and Economics
Dr. Salah Aziz visited one of the oldest university in Europe: The Budapest University of Technology and Economics The University was established in 1782
and considered the first university offering engineering degree in Europe. The University consists of eight faculties: Civil Engineering (1782), Mechanical Engineering (1871), Architecture (1873), Chemical Technology and Biotechnology (1873), Electrical Engineering and Informatics (1949),Transportation Engineering (1955), Natural Sciences (1998),Economic and Social Sciences (1998). The year refers to the establishment year of the faculty. Many departments offer Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees.
Dr. Salah met with Prof. Dr. Gabor Peceli, Director of the International Office, Dean and Vice Dean of Faculty of Transportation Engineering. Dr. Salah toured various departments and laboratories. Dr. Gabor and Dr. Salah discussed the possibility of educational cooperation between the two universities
