Lafarge Visits KUST
Mr. Patrick Furno, Director of Industrial Waste of Africa/Middle-East, and Mr. Sherwan Omer (Lafarge Office in Sulaymani) visited KUST and met with Dr. Salah Aziz, President, Woshiar Rasul. New Campus Project Director, Ms. Kazhan Rebwar, Students Representative of the Department of Environmental Engineering. During the meeting, Mr. Furno explained the goals of Industrial Ecology at Lafarge and their role in saving environment. Dr. Salah emphasized the importance of cooperation of academic institutions with industries to develop and serve the community. Both sides agreed to cooperate in the future.
