Welcoming Students and Faculty members in Fall 2014
The orientation began with a brief introduction of Directors and Faculty members of each academic department by KUST President Dr. Aziz. Collectively, Faculties expressed a sincere enthusiasm for a successful year.
The President later shifted the student’s attention to the larger issues that are facing Kurdistan: Security and Economic instability and how they are effecting the lives of everyone in Kurdistan, including students and their families. Dr. Aziz assured students that they are not alone in this time of difficulties. Students were guaranteed that each and every KUST faculty and staff members will assist them in finding a solution that they face: academically and others. In attendance were KUST Faculty, Staff, Students; along with Community Service Committee and Student Council Members. The first day of classes in KUST was September 14th, 2014.
