KUST Has Participated In The 25th Anniversary Genocide Of Halabja City
In the memorial day of the genocide committed against Halabja, faculty members and students from KUST visited the city of Halabja. The Meyer and municipality office welcomed them to a ceremony, where they have planted trees and flowers in one of the main streets of the city. NGO’s and human right organizations were also present, and the Kurdish media had the chance to interview KUST’s members. Thereafter, KUST’s members paid a visit to the memorial museum and listened to a presentation about the city history and the chemical attack it was exposed to in 1988.
