KUST Sets Start Date for New President
Komar University of Science and Technology, Bord of Trustee on Monday October 16th, 2017 voted in favor of selecting Dr. Salah Saeed Ali as President of KUST.
During a comprehensive meeting held with KUST community on November 5th, 2017, Assistant Professor Dr. Dara M. Jamil, Chairman of BOT discussed enriched biography and important role of Dr. Saeed in the university as an intiative.
Later in a statement, Dr. Saeed expressed his appreciation and said he was “profoundly grateful” for “this incredible opportunity.”
“I believe that we are a family and we can work as the best one” he said. “All the ingredients are in place for KUST to leverage access and discovery to become the very best private university in the region with the best quality.”
Dr. Saeed, was previously the president of University of Sulaimani, where he was also one of the founders of College of Science in 1994.
